YOUTH INITIATIVEThe mission of APPALOOSA'S YOUTH INITIATIVE is to develop the creative and technical talents of emerging young filmmakers by providing practical experience in the film and television industries. Thus fostering a new generation of media artists from disenfranchised backgrounds: kids of color, rural and poor whites. The mandate is to nurture new professionals in the industry that have the capacity to redefine how culture, values, traditions and aspirations are portrayed on film and television. APPALOOSA works in tandem with IRON CIRCLE PICTURES by placing fellows in meaningful apprenticeship positions on productions with media professionals.
